First there is the unique pleasure of his multiple solitary wanderings through the forests of the region which is home to him. Then there is the infinite patience needed to gather the raw materials for his creations: leaves of the same size, countless chestnuts, twigs, plaques of similar coloured moss… And once gathered, these elements must be carefully assembled to produce works which blend perfectly with their natural surroundings.
