Biography
Living in Geneva since 1982, I am painting since 1997. My workshop is in Carouge. Autodidact, I started this journey in my fifties. This progressively conducted me to leave my regular profession in the health care domain.

My hands have their own requirements
This red thread orientates myself between dream and reality. The pathway is a slow immersion in the colours where nuances and vibrations express themselves. The coming to light is a silent instant.
My preferred support is of wood. I like the matter. My fingers are snapped-up by the mix of acrylic colours, the pigments, and sometimes by the sand. They play on the alternate utilisation of the brush and the sponge. This liberty allows spontaneity in a wander where spaces reveal one after the other. By the means of a polyphony of colours and successive stories, most often emerges a painting whose monochrome aspect is inhabited by the whole process. That is the first approach.
The second one lies a gestural espression where wood imposes itself as painting and support, metamorphosis and assemblage.
