Biography

Christiane Dubois was born in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, in 1947.

Studied at the Ecole d’arts appliqués in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Repeated stays in the Orient. Advanced training in engraving and painting with various artists. Several stays in Paris at the Cité Internationale des Arts (1994-1995)
Stay in New-York (1997)
Prix XYLON International in 1994
1991, awarded a bursary from the CVSC for a stay in Egypt
2000, Prix VISA, Internationale Triennale für Originalgrafik, Grenchen, Solothurn
2001/2002, stays in Kasterlee, Belgium, at the Centre international de la gravure Frans Masereel
Currently lives and works in Bois, Jura, in Switzerland.
