Biography
Mariette Chappuis was born in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1954.
From copperplate engraving in the 90s to the mixed techniques she favors today, Mariette Chappuis has steadily affirmed her interest in experimentation with a wide variety of materials. Fascinated by collage, she selects paper of widely varying kinds and origins - in some cases making her own. Along with her collages, her present work also features acrylic and chalk.
